Lesko will operate ex Grassroots Motorsport magazine Subaru Impreza 2.2 Turbo. The objective for the team is to finish the event with minimal damage and I'm proud to say that I will sit in the co-drivers seat of the Subaru on December 8th, 2007 in Greenville, NY.

We are OK, but we can not say the same about the car. Since the roll took it down the hill, wrecker pulled it out for us. It was rough as rough as the car is right now, but we are glad we came out of this whole thing in one piece.

--- Last minute change... we are in for Laughlin! | Nov-01 2007 / 21:57 EDT | posted by GDorman | Comments  Yep, not even full week after I'm back from LSPR, I am off for another event. Rafal Listopad made it happen at the last minute and him and the car are leaving for Laughlin International Rally on Saturday. It is a long trip of over 2500 miles, but it will be worth it. I will join Rafal at Laughlin on Wednesday to bring a fresh report directly from the recce. The event will begin on November 8th and it will run for whole three days. I'm sure there will be lots of photos to post.

Gruszka takes group N win and 19th overall at LSPR | Nov-01 2007 / 21:56 EDT | posted by GDorman | Comments  Arkadiusz Gruszka in his third start in Subaru Impreza N11 took group N win and 19th overall spot at LSPR by overcoming 4th gear loss after the first day of the competition. Rookie driver from Chicago drove a clean rally and is on his way to gain more experience with the car and rally stages in US. It was a pleasure for me to be part of that team in my first visit to LSPR. What a rally!

Arkadiusz Gruszka invited me to sit with him at the last round of Rally America Championship 2007, Lake Superior Performance Rally based in Houghton, MI. From New York for this event joins us NC Rally Team member Arkadiusz Bialobrzeski, who will service the team during the event.
This will be my first start in LSPR, but from what I could notice and find out from rally friends this should be fun event.

 Jake Himes, Colin McRae RIP | Sep-16 2007 / 12:39 EDT | posted by GDorman | Comments  I still can't believe I'm writing this. September of 2007 has been a terrible month for rally world. On September 11th we lost Jake Himes. Amazing personality that I just met for my first time at Rally West Virginia. A guy with awesome ideas and who did great amount of work for our sport in US. RIP Jake Himes 1974 - 2007
Now, just yesterday I got these terrible news from overseas. My hero for 12 years that I have been involved in this sport, was lost in a helicopter crash with his son along his side (5 years old Johnny), Johnny's buddy and Colin's friend. I had an honor and previlage to meet my hero just about a year ago at XGames 12 and found out that not only he was the biggest rally star of all time, the legend, but also a great person. Thank You Colin for what you have done for us! We will miss you. RIP Colin McRae 1968 - 2007
