It will most likely put me way behind in USRC points, but the season is not over yet. Will see what the rest of the year will bring rally wise. But, I will be at Rally New York with the camera of PressPassTV, so come by, say hello and shoot any ideas you have as of what should we shoot at this event. See you all there!

R5 over dip ends Rally West Virginia | Aug-23 2007 / 18:09 EDT | posted by GDorman | Comments  Well, it looks like we run into problems every other event and this one was no different. 4.4 miles from the start of the first stage of the rally, rear end of our VW got airborne after going over the dip. Just a second later Rafal was fighting hard to get the car out of the ditch... No luck there either. Driver side of the Golf hit a big rock and ripped out the whole corner, damaging almost everything that was possible. Thanks to our Crew Chief Rafal Wroblewski and team of Mark Lawrence (spare parts) we were able to get the car down to Elkins around 1.00 am on Saturday, which left us with no brakes and no condition to continue the event.
We will keep you all updated as how is this going to change the plans for the rest of the year, but for now... we are skipping International Rally New York.

Just over the weekend I found out that recce at rally New York did some well hidden damage to my Audi Coupe. Unfortunately one of the parts (aluminum bracket for the engine mount) was almost impossible to find. However thanks to Quattrohaus in Newark, NJ and their big stock of used parts we were able to put the whole thing together last night.
